Biden: Ukraine should strike back if North Korean soldiers cross its border
The United States is monitoring the presence of North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region, and Ukraine should respond if the North Korean military crosses into its territory, according to US President Joe Biden.
Biden expressed concern over reports regarding North Korean troops in the Kursk area. When asked whether Ukrainian forces should strike back, he replied, "If they cross into Ukraine, yes."
North Korean soldiers assisting Russia
President Biden has previously commented on the deployment of North Korean soldiers to Russian territory, calling it "very dangerous."
Just last week, it was revealed that North Korean military personnel are in the Kursk region, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense.
Furthermore, on October 29, CNN reported, citing its sources, that a small number of North Korean soldiers have already been spotted in Ukraine. Although this information has not yet been officially confirmed.
