Biden names purpose of meeting with Xi Jinping - Reuters

U.S. President Joe Biden is hopeful of improving communication with China following his meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, reports Reuters.
Biden noted that the goal of the upcoming talks with Xi Jinping, scheduled for November 15, is to restore normal communication between the two nations, including military contacts.
The American leader added that he is seeking to change U.S.-China relations for the better after a period of tension.
Biden-Xi Jinping Meeting
On November 15, U.S. President Joe Biden will meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in San Francisco. This meeting will take place on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
According to Reuters, during the meeting, the leaders will discuss Russia's invasion of Ukraine, North Korea's ties with Russia, the development of artificial intelligence, and more.
The White House has indicated that they expect specific outcomes from the meeting and hope to see progress in restoring military relations with China.
