There is a stereotype that one needs to completely give up sweets to have a healthy diet. In reality, cookies and candies can be easily incorporated into a healthy eating model, according to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Avoid robust restrictions
Constantly denying yourself your favorite dessert will sooner or later lead to a breakdown. Ultimately, you will not achieve your goal and will not be able to lose weight or lead a healthier lifestyle.
Therefore, instead of strict restrictions, try to control the amount of sweets you consume and do not deny yourself pleasure every single time.
For example, you can eat "forbidden" sweets a few times a week. Also, allow yourself a certain amount of sweets and time when you can have them.
However, if you don't feel the desire to eat something sweet, forcing yourself just because it's time is not necessary at all.
