Belgorod region fuel storage site on fire: Russians claim drone attack
A drone attacked a fuel storage site in the Volokonovsky district of Belgorod region, Russia. A large-scale fire broke out there, reports the local governor Viacheslav Gladkov.
According to him, a drone attack in the village of Yutanovka resulted in the explosion of railroad fuel storage tanks. It is currently known that a large-scale fire broke out at the site where the tank was located.
“The explosion caused the tanks to catch fire. Fire crews are extinguishing the fire,” Gladkov wrote.
Russians traditionally blamed the attack on the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Explosions in Belgorod and the region
Explosions at fuel storage facilities in Belgorod and the region have already become traditional. In particular, there were strong explosions in Belgorod in the evening of August 30.
And this morning, residents of Belgorod and the region complained about explosions and strikes. Then Gladkov said that air defense was allegedly working. A missile threat was also announced in the region.
