Austrian Foreign Minister visits Ukraine's Odesa after massive Russian night attack

Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Mainl-Reisinger arrived in Odesa on August 20. That night, the Russians launched a massive drone attack on the Odesa region, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
"Today, I am pleased to welcome my dear Austrian colleague Beate Meinl-Reisinger to Odesa on her third visit to Ukraine since she took office in March," he says.
The ministers discussed the visit to honor the memory of the fallen defenders of Europe from Ukraine.
Austria has stated that it is ready to become a platform for negotiations between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russia's Vladimir Putin.
Russian strike on Odesa region
On the night of August 20, Russia launched a massive attack with strike drones on Izmail in the Odesa region. According to preliminary information, one person was injured.
Russian strikes caused a large-scale fire at a fuel and energy infrastructure facility.
The large-scale fire was extinguished by 54 rescuers and 16 pieces of equipment. The Ukrainian Railways fire train, the National Guard fire unit, and the local fire brigade were also involved.
