Attack on rescuers in Donetsk region: Russia hits evacuation team with drone again

On Monday, February 17, the Russian army struck rescuers with an FPV drone as they were delivering water to Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. When the evacuation team arrived, a second strike was carried out, according to the State Emergency Service and the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin.
As noted by the State Emergency Service, the enemy deliberately targeted the driver. As a result of the strike, two rescuers were injured and taken to the hospital.
"Currently, the injured are in moderate condition. The water tanker has been damaged," the statement said.
Later, Filashkin clarified that the enemy attacked Kostiantynivka twice with FPV drones. The first strike hit the water tanker, while the second targeted the evacuation team that had arrived to assist the two injured rescuers.
"As a result of the second strike, three more people were injured: two police officers and the head of the local military administration," he wrote.
The Russian army recently attacked a truck with a drone in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in one fatality.
Earlier, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russia attacked rescuers with kamikaze drones while they were extinguishing a fire.
