Attack on oil depot and gunpowder plant in Russia: Ukrainian intelligence's commentary
The attack on the oil depot near Bryansk and the gunpowder plant near Tambov caused damage to the Russian occupiers. In particular, it complicates the logistics of the Russians and disrupts supply schedules, according to Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
"A good rumble, a good 'bavovna' (explosion ironically - ed.). Such events regularly occur at military facilities on the territory of the aggressor state. It is clear that when it comes to an oil depot involved in the supply of fuels and lubricants and more, this complicates logistics for the occupiers. This disrupts supply schedules and supply schedules. Accordingly, it gives additional opportunities, a margin of time, and increases the space for maneuver for our defenders," he says.
Yusov also comments on Russian claims that Ukrainian drones can fly distances of up to 900 kilometers.
"We can neither confirm nor deny this. But Ukrainian drones can cover even greater distances. If we talk about the reaction in Russian society, all questions are directed to Putin, Shoigu, Gerasimov, those who continue the genocidal war against Ukraine," the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine representative adds.
