The attack on the oil depot and energy facility in the Russian city of Oryol was a special operation carried out by the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, according to a source in Ukrainian intelligence.
The source confirms that Ukrainian military intelligence is behind the attack on the Oryol facilities.
In addition, it is stated that the special operation was conducted with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the "Return Alive" Foundation.

Today, on January 9, explosions occurred in the Russian city of Oryol. Russians complained about drone attack.
According to information from propagandist Telegram channels, drones fell on the territory of the Oryolnefteprodukt oil depot and the Oryolenergo energy company.
Propagandists specified that one of the drones hit a fuel tank on the oil depot's premises.
Information about the operation of the air defense system was also reported in the Kursk region.
Details of the attack remain unknown at the moment.
