At G20 summit, Ukraine's position will be represented in all relevant discussions - Zelenskyy
Next week, the G20 summit will take place in Brazil. Ukraine is negotiating with its partners to ensure its position is represented in all relevant discussions, according to the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy spoke about today's conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
"Germany is a leader in supporting air defense. We discussed the delivery of another IRIS-T system and continued work on developing the air shield," the president said.
Zelenskyy and Scholz also discussed the Ramstein format. According to the head of state, this cooperation has brought great benefits to Ukraine and all partners.
"We also discussed the preparation for the G20 meeting in Brazil next week. We are negotiating with our partners to ensure that Ukraine's position is represented in all relevant discussions. Only together can the world ensure truly reliable peace and long-term stability for international relations," the president noted.
G20 summit in Brazil
The G20 summit will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on November 18-19.
Ahead of the G20 summit, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha reminded about the position of "nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine."
He emphasized that Ukraine has a clear stance on achieving a just peace. Kyiv will not accept any initiative developed without Ukraine's involvement.
He also stressed that Ukraine will not agree to any compromises on its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
