Ukrainian Special Operations Forces used ground and aerial drones to evacuate wounded allied soldiers and capture a Russian soldier near Pokrovsk, according to the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, operators from the 3rd Special Operations Forces Regiment carried out a successful raid, neutralized and captured enemy forces, and evacuated wounded personnel from an adjacent unit," the Special Operations Forces said.
The 3rd Regiment's team was tasked with conducting a raid on the enemy, who were preventing the evacuation of wounded infantrymen trapped in their position.
Taking advantage of favorable weather conditions, operators from the SWORD GROUP entered the combat zone, killed two enemy soldiers, while another decided to surrender. The captured soldier received medical assistance and was evacuated.
"Thanks to the successful actions of our troops, the allied unit’s position was cleared. Three wounded infantrymen were evacuated using a ground drone, which our Special Operations operators now regularly employ during missions," the forces added.

The Pokrovsk direction remains a hotspot in the Donetsk region. Russian forces are attempting to encircle Pokrovsk from several directions and are moving reinforcements.
The Russian army exploited poor weather, including thick fog, to enter Pokrovsk. Over 300 enemy troops are currently in the city.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces are conducting counteroffensive operations and defending their positions.
According to the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, defenders hold positions in central Pokrovsk and have cleared enemy forces from the railway station, the pedagogical college, and Sobornyi Square. Russian troops have been unable to consolidate their positions.
