Arsenal came from behind to beat Leeds in the sixth round of the Premier League. Mikel Arteta’s side bounced back after conceding the opening goal and snatched all three points thanks to a clinical strike from Bruno Guimarães.

All the goals came after halftime

Leeds had several chances to take the lead in the first half, but Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya kept the hosts in the game with a series of saves. However, the visitors finally broke through in the 55th minute.

James Justin capitalized on a pass from Gabriel Gudmundsson to put Leeds ahead.

Calafiori and Guimarães turn the game around

Arsenal responded quickly after conceding. In the 62nd minute, Riccardo Calafiori restored parity, putting the hosts back in contention for the win.

Just eight minutes later, the London side struck again. Bruno Guimarães, who had come on as a substitute, delivered the match-winning goal to secure victory for his team.

Standings

The win takes Arsenal to 15 points, putting them second in the Premier League table. Leeds’ defeat ended their unbeaten run, leaving them in fifth place.

Arsenal’s next match is against Lille in the Champions League, followed by an away game against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. Leeds will host Manchester United in their next league fixture.
