Armed Forces to receive Wolly remote combat modules: What are they?
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have adopted the Wolly remote combat module, a domestically produced weapon, informs the Ministry of Defense press service.
The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the use of the Wolly remote combat module in the Defense Forces.
The module is equipped with a 7.62 or 12.7 mm caliber machine gun with an automatic ammunition feed system, a thermal imager, and a system for automatic target detection, recognition, and tracking.
"Domestic weapons manufacturers have incorporated technological solutions into the combat module based on requests from the military and the real combat experience of Ukrainian defenders," said Deputy Minister of Defense Dmytro Klimenkov.
He added that several proposals regarding control and automation of weapon use had been taken into account.
The Ministry of Defense also highlights that the Ukrainian module is easy to transport, being lightweight. One soldier can deliver it to the installation site, and the battery charge lasts for several days of operation.

Ukrainian-made weapons
During the full-scale war, Ukraine has increased its production of weapons. Both private and state-owned Ukrainian companies are manufacturing various types of drones, electronic warfare systems, ammunition, armored vehicles, and other weaponry.
Ukraine has developed unique maritime drones that destroy the Russian fleet, as well as long-range UAVs. According to the head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, Ukrainian drones can reach targets up to 1,800 km away.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Ukraine is working on developing its own ballistic weapons. Read more about Ukraine’s secret weaponry in our article.
