Strikes by the Defense Forces on Russian command posts

The Defense Forces continuously target the command posts of Russian troops to weaken the occupying forces in specific directions. For instance, Ukrainian forces recently struck a Russian command and observation post.

The Kurakhove direction remains one of the most challenging, alongside the Pokrovsk direction. As of the morning of January 8, the Defense Forces repelled 25 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Kurakhove direction near Sribne, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Andriivka, Kurakhove, and Dachne over the past day.
