Ukrainian Defense Forces have liberated part of Opytne near Donetsk over the past week. They are consolidating their positions, according to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar's statement.
"In Opytne, there was also movement. The defense forces occupied part of this settlement," she said.

Maliar stated that Ukrainian defense forces had made partial advances during the week in the Novomykhailivka region of the Donetsk region (Mariupol direction).

"On those parts and sections where we succeeded, our Armed Forces are currently consolidating," she added.
The General Staff reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had successfully conducted offensive operations and advanced to the Avdiivka-Donetsk line.
As Vitaliy Barabash, the head of the Avdiivka Municipal Military Administration, stated on September 10, two days ago, when Russian military forces were concentrated north of the town of Avdiivka, in the course of assault operations, "the guys carried out a lightning storm operation and occupied part of Opytne, and they have fortified their positions."
