Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone 17, the new generation of its smartphones. The lineup includes four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The devices feature an updated design, new technologies, and major performance improvements, according to Apple’s official YouTube channel.
iPhone 17: base model
The smartphone comes with a 6.3-inch display supporting 120Hz ProMotion and Always-On Display. The body is made of aluminum and glass, with a thickness of 7.8 mm. Inside, it is powered by the A19 chip, paired with 8 GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 128 GB to 1 TB.

The camera system includes a 24 MP front camera, a 48 MP main camera, and a 12 MP Ultra Wide with 2x optical zoom. It supports 4K video. The battery capacity is over 3692 mAh. Pricing starts at $799.

The thinnest model in the lineup measures just 5.5 mm. It features a 6.6-inch 120 Hz ProMotion display with Always-On Display. The body is made of titanium and glass. The smartphone runs on the A19 Pro processor, comes with 12 GB of RAM, and offers storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB.

iPhone 17 in Ukraine: pricing revealed
Some Ukrainian online retailers have already opened pre-orders for the iPhone 17. Available configurations range from 128 GB at 41,200 UAH to 512 GB at 65,920 UAH. Some stores are also requiring an advance payment of around 5%.

iPhone prices in Ukraine are traditionally higher than in the US due to 20% VAT and customs duties, certification and logistics costs, as well as fluctuations in the hryvnia-to-dollar exchange rate. Political factors, which can affect supply chains, also play a role.
In Ukraine, the new Apple smartphones are expected to arrive by the end of October 2025.
All new iPhone models will run on iOS 26, featuring the redesigned Liquid Glass interface, new notification functions, and improvements to Apple Music.
