A 21-year-old woman carried out a knife attack near an adult education school complex on Mińska Street in Warsaw, injuring three people, according to Polsat News.
The incident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. outside an adult education school office in Warsaw’s Praga district.
The attacker stabbed three women — two 17-year-old girls and a 24-year-old woman.
Police arrived at the scene just four minutes after emergency services were called.
A university employee quickly detained the suspect and handed her over to police, who seized the knife.
One of the 17-year-old girls was taken to hospital with cuts to her forearm.
Jacek Wiśniewski, a spokesperson for the Warsaw Police Headquarters, said her life was not in danger.
The other two victims received medical treatment at the scene and did not require hospitalization. Investigators are now questioning them.
The attacker’s motive has not yet been established.
Police say the available information does not indicate that the people involved knew each other beforehand.
The suspect is a student at the school, while one of the victims had come there to submit documents.
