Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie visited Kharkiv with her son Knox. The celebrity stopped by the local Spadkoyemets sports club, where her son trained with Ukrainian military personnel, according to the club’s Instagram.

What is known about Jolie’s visit to the boxing club

According to representatives of Spadkoyemets, the actress’s arrival came as a surprise. What started as a regular training session turned into a meeting with a global movie star.

While Jolie spoke with club representatives and learned about the history of its founding, her son Knox joined a Muay Thai training session. Ukrainian defenders trained alongside him.

The club shared a photo of Angelina Jolie and thanked the actress for her attention to their work.

They noted that they particularly appreciate her humanity and genuine interest in the history of the sports facility.

“We are very grateful and happy that you chose our gym! We would like to thank you for your humanity and genuine interest in our gym and the history of its origin.
We were happy to communicate and look forward to seeing you again,” the club said.

Jolie has already been spotted in other Ukrainian cities

The visit to Kharkiv was part of Angelina Jolie’s current trip around Ukraine. Over the past few days, the actress has been spotted in several cities, including Poltava, Ternopil, Kremenchuk, and Lviv.

This is Jolie’s third visit to Ukraine since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

The actress first came to our country in April 2022. At the time, she made a private humanitarian trip to Lviv, where she met with volunteers, Ukrainians who had been forced to flee their homes because of the war, and children affected by the Russian strike on the railway station in Kramatorsk.

In November 2025, Jolie visited Ukraine for the second time. She traveled to Kherson and Mykolaiv, where she visited medical facilities and underground schools, as well as met with families, medical workers, and volunteers.

Angelina Jolie is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and has repeatedly expressed her support for Ukrainians since the beginning of the full-scale war.
