The Superheroes Club is a charitable initiative from the Favbet Foundation. The president of the foundation is Andriy Matyukha. The initiative covers three areas: sports sections, basic educational support, and courses in the fundamentals of digital technologies. Participants are children from the families of servicemen and internally displaced persons.

The project operates in several cities across Ukraine. All activities are free for participants.

Within the first area, children can attend sports sections. Classes are held in Kyiv: football and basketball at the “Sport for All” center; martial arts at the SpartaBox club; wrestling, boxing, and combat sambo sections.

The program is designed for children and teenagers. Training sessions take place three times a week. Expenses are covered by the foundation.

A separate area of the initiative is the distribution of basic educational materials. The program is implemented under the name “Power in Knowledge.” Within this activity, the Favbet Foundation distributed over 5,500 sets of stationery supplies for primary school children.

The kits included: notebooks; pens, pencils, rulers; paints, brushes, and other materials for art classes; glue, scissors, and covers.

The kits were assembled considering the school needs of younger students. Materials were distributed through educational institutions, partner organizations, and local volunteer networks. The supplies were handed directly to parents or schools.

The kits were delivered to various regions of Ukraine, including communities that host a significant number of displaced persons. Both large cities and smaller settlements were covered.

Participation in the program is free.

The third area is digital skills training. It is implemented in partnership with Code Club Ukraine. The program includes two main courses:

  1. Python — a course to introduce the basics of programming.
  2. Scratch — for creating simple games and animations.

Classes take place both online and offline in the following cities:

  • Lviv;
  • Dnipro;
  • Ivano-Frankivsk;
  • Kryvyi Rih;
  • Poltava;
  • Cherkasy;
  • Kropyvnytskyi;
  • Odesa;
  • settlements in the Donetsk region.

The program includes three levels: beginner, basic, and advanced. Each class lasts 40 minutes. Sessions are held once a week.

How to join the project

The project remains open to new participants. The organizers primarily focus on children from families of servicemen and internally displaced persons. This is because these categories often have limited access to additional educational and sports opportunities.

Participation in the program is free of charge. Enrollment is based on pre-registration. Available spots in sections and educational groups fill up quickly, so it is important to follow updates.

Current information about recruitment, class start dates, and registration forms is published on the official page of Favbet Foundation.

The page is updated regularly, particularly before the start of new educational cycles or the launch of new sections.

Andriy Matyukha, president of Favbet Foundation, coordinates the project. The foundation implements various areas of assistance — in education, healthcare, sports, and the humanitarian sector.

The goal is to provide participants with access to services that help them adapt to changes and acquire new skills.
