Ukrainian pilots who have completed their training on F-16 fighters in Arizona will not be returning to Ukraine just yet. They will be heading to Europe, according to Air Force spokesperson Illia Yevlash.

"The training process is not over. The pilots are now returning to Europe and will continue their training there, with the aim of eventually coming to Ukraine to carry out their tasks," Yevlash said.

The Air Force spokesperson added that the training process is ongoing and involves not only pilots but also engineers. Upon their return to Ukraine, these specialists will share their experience with colleagues.

According to Yevlash, the first F-16 aircraft to arrive in Ukraine will be tasked with patrolling missions as well as striking enemy positions along the front line.
