On the night of April 25, Russian forces carried out a combined strike on Ukraine's critical infrastructure using attack drones and missiles, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The main direction of the strike was Dnipro. Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Odesa, and Kyiv regions were also attacked.

In total, radio-technical troops of the Air Force recorded 666 aerial attack assets (47 missiles and 619 drones):

  • 12 Iskander-M/ S-400 ballistic missiles (launch areas: Millerovo, Kursk, Yeisk in Russia, and temporarily occupied territory of Crimea);
  • 29 Kh-101 cruise missiles (launched from the Caspian Sea area);
  • 1 Iskander-K cruise missile (launch area: Bryansk region, Russia);
  • 5 Kalibr cruise missiles (launched from the Caspian Sea area);
  • 619 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas attack drones and other UAVs from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), Hvardiiske, Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea), about 400 of which were Shahed drones.

According to preliminary data as of 08:00, air defense systems shot down or suppressed 610 targets — 30 missiles and 580 drones of various types:

  • 26 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
  • 4 Kalibr cruise missiles;
  • 580 enemy drones of various types.

At the same time, 13 missiles and 36 attack drones were recorded hitting 23 locations, while downed debris fell at 9 locations. Information on four missiles is being clarified; no reports of impacts have been received.

"The attack is ongoing! Several new groups of attack drones have entered Ukrainian airspace. Do not ignore air raid alerts," the Air Force warned.

April 25 attack on Ukraine

As a reminder, on the night of April 25, Russian occupiers carried out a series of strikes on Kharkiv, Dnipro, as well as the Sumy, Kyiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

In Dnipro alone, 14 people were injured as a result of the enemy attack, including a 9-year-old boy.

As a result of the strikes, a four-story residential building was partially destroyed. An industrial facility, private homes, cars, and a shop were also damaged.

The enemy also carried out several strikes on the Kyivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv. One of the impacts occurred near a residential building.

Transport infrastructure was affected — a public transport stop was destroyed and a gas pipeline was damaged.

Impacts were also recorded in the Saltivskyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts, where private houses were damaged and fires broke out.

In addition, a one-and-a-half-year-old boy was injured in the Nemyshlianskyi district as a result of an enemy drone strike. The child was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction, and medics provided all necessary assistance.
