Air defense downs guided missile and 4 Shahed drones over Ukraine
Russia attacked Ukraine again on the night of July 27. The air defense forces shot down a guided missile and four Shahed drones, according to the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk.
Russia fired a Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missile from the airspace of the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, and four kamikaze drones from Prymorsko-Akhtarsk.
All targets were shot down. Air defense was active in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Kyiv regions.
Over the past and current days, air defense destroyed eight more air targets in the southern and northeastern directions, namely four Supercam reconnaissance drones, one Forpost strike and reconnaissance UAV, two Lancet barrage munitions, and another drone of an unidentified type.

On the evening of July 26, explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported a missile in the city area.
Russians attacked the Poltava region with drones. According to local authorities, an industrial facility was damaged. A fire broke out and has been extinguished. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The wreckage of the drone fell on the territory of a settlement in the Kyiv region. A fire broke out on the grass, it was promptly extinguished. The attack severed power lines and damaged the roofs of two private houses and a fence.
