Over the course of 10 years, Apple developed a project for automobiles. However, ultimately, the company abandoned this initiative, leaving all the efforts unrealized.
Details about how an Apple car might have looked are revealed by RBC-Ukraine.

How Apple cars might have looked
On February 27, Apple informed its employees of the decision to abandon the development of a car. While sudden, this decision was not entirely unexpected. Over the past decade, the company has been involved in at least five different major projects, prototypes, including autonomous driving systems.
The automotive manufacturing program costs an average of approximately 1 billion dollars per year. This amounts to nearly a fifth of Apple's budget for research and development, which the company allocated ten years ago. Expenses for chips, camera sensors, and software add hundreds of millions of dollars annually.
However, Apple never came close to realizing any of these projects. It didn't even reach the stage of testing a full-scale prototype on public roads.
Partially, this failure can be attributed to the immense technical complexity of the autonomous driving project, as well as the challenges in the automotive industry. Another reason is the prolonged development of the project.
Although an Apple car is unlikely to materialize, artificial intelligence has shown how it might have looked.

Initially, Apple engineers proposed creating an autonomous "microbus" without a steering wheel and pedals. Instead, it was envisioned to feature "club seats, like in a private jet," curved sides, and a glass roof.
Apple's designer, Jony Ive, also envisioned the car's interior, covered in stainless steel, wood, and white fabric, and exclusively in white color.
