63rd Mechanized Brigade captures Russian assault troops near Torske, Donetsk region – Video

Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers from the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade captured a Russian assault group near Torske in the Donetsk region, according to the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is reported that two servicemen attacked a Russian assault group in a dugout in the forest near Torske. At first, Russian soldiers did not want to surrender, so the dugout had to be thrown with grenades.
"At first, the occupiers resisted, but after several grenades, they quickly realized that captivity was better than death," the report said.
The Land Forces also showed video footage of the firefight and the subsequent surrender of the surviving Russian servicemen.
This is not the first attempt by Russian forces to storm Torske. On July 25, soldiers of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade crushed Russian assault groups trying to break into the settlement. Drone-dropped munitions alone eliminated 23 Russian soldiers.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on July 29, the enemy carried out more than 5,700 attacks and dropped 109 aerial bombs. The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Toretsk directions.
Over the past day, Russian forces lost 890 personnel and dozens of pieces of equipment. Since February 24, 2022, Russia’s total irrecoverable personnel losses have exceeded 1.05 million.
