Russia's removal of Ukrainian children

Ukraine's First Lady, Olena Zelenska, stated in an interview with RBC-Ukraine that Russia has taken approximately 19,500 children out of Ukraine. The process of repatriation is complicated and protracted due to Russian authorities' lack of cooperation.

Notably, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and ombudswoman Maria Lvova-Belova specifically in relation to the deportation of Ukrainian children. This serves as a response to the grave situation surrounding their removal.
