Since Zelenskyy has said that territorial issues would be reserved for a potential trilateral summit with Putin, the White House talks likely focused in detail on the format of security guarantees for Ukraine.

Earlier, President Trump had stated that agreements on Ukraine’s security guarantees would be reached during the day. He said he believed that the US and Europe would come to a resolution "on nearly everything, including security guarantees."
