Nighttime Russian attack on Kyiv region: man injured and hospitalized

Russian forces once again attacked the Kyiv region with drones overnight on October 2. One person was injured in one of the districts as a result of the strike, according to the Kyiv Regional Administration head Mykola Kalashnyk.
"Unfortunately, one person was injured in the Bucha district as a result of a Russian attack," the statement reads.
The head of the regional administration specified that the 50-year-old man sustained a shrapnel wound to his right shin. He was hospitalized in a local medical facility, where he is receiving all necessary assistance.
Kalashnyk emphasized that Russian forces deliberately target civilian settlements, "trying to destroy life itself."
"Evil must be punished. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Stay in safe places during air raid alerts," he concluded.
Russian strikes on Kyiv region
Russian forces continue to attack the Kyiv region regularly, using drones and various types of missiles.
For instance, on the night of September 30, the region came under drone attack. A private residential house and a car were damaged, and a woman born in 1950 was injured as a result of that strike.
