Kellogg says Putin 'is not good guy' and caused great harm

Vladimir Putin is a "bad man" because he "some of the things he has done have been absolutely atrocious." Ukraine’s war against Russia, he said, should be seen as a battle of good versus evil.
US President’s special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg made the remarks in an interview with The Telegraph.
"It's good versus evil. And you have to look at it that way. I mean, Putin is not a good guy. Okay? And what he has done is some of the things he has done have been absolutely atrocious. It's horrific," Trump’s special envoy said.
He wants to believe he has kept faith in his nation under such circumstances. That is why he does everything he can to help Ukraine on behalf of the United States, hoping that “we will come out of this better.”
"If Ukraine comes out of this in good shape, and I think it will. Um, maybe there's some hiccups along the way. If that's good, then I can sit and rest easy and say, you know, there's a saying in America, 'Have you fought the good fight?' And I say, 'Yeah, that's where I want to be,'" he concluded.
Earlier in the interview, Kellogg compared Putin to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, saying the Russian president wants to “rebuild an empire” and will inevitably attack NATO if he succeeds in Ukraine.
He also suggested that Ukraine may eventually have to cede some territory to Russia, but stressed two points: first, that those territories could be regained later, and second, that the decision would rest solely with Ukraine.
Kellogg added it would be "unfair" to accuse Trump of giving Putin concessions. According to him, Trump is merely trying to create opportunities for diplomacy.
