Russian forces shelled a farm in Mykolaiv region, killing a tractor driver, according to Mykolaiv regional governor Vitalii Kim.

He noted that a few hours earlier, Russian forces attacked a farm in the Chornomorska community of Mykolaiv region.

"While working in the field, a man, a tractor driver, was killed. This was a deliberate strike on civilians; they clearly knew where they were hitting," Kim said.

Russian air attacks

On the night of September 16, Russia again launched Shahed drones toward Ukraine.

In Kyiv, an air raid alert was declared for the second time, and explosions were heard on the outskirts of the city due to air defense activity.

Around midnight, Russian forces shelled Zaporizhzhia, sparking fires, damaging homes, and leaving at least one person dead and several wounded.

On September 14, Russian aircraft also struck Kramatorsk with bombs, injuring 19 people.
