Before drawing conclusions about the Cabinet reshuffle, it is worth waiting until the changes are finalized. Only after that will it be possible to comment on the adjustments, states Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, in a comment to RBC-Ukraine's YouTube channel.

"It is obvious to me that any personnel decisions with a '+' sign are positive. After all, it is a reboot of the executive system. Why? Let's wait for all the dismissals and appointments. Because some people will lose, for example, their acting status, some will increase their functional capabilities, and take on additional responsibilities, and some will move to other roles. So, let's see what the configuration of the executive branch will be in two days. After that, we will be able to comment on it in more detail," Podolyak emphasized.

He noted that Ukraine has now entered a new phase of the war, and thus the country has new needs.

"Look, we are in a new stage of the war. So again, partly the initiative is in Ukraine, partly there are new needs, and partly we are entering a new heating season. There are financial needs, economic needs, and needs to restructure the economy further. There is a need to intensify negotiations in external markets, rationally explaining why it is mathematically beneficial for everyone today to invest more in Ukraine, whether that be through investment or through weapons," he explained.

Podolyak stated that these investments are in security guarantees not just for Ukraine but for all its partner countries.

The advisor to the Head of the Office of the President noted that improving or again increasing the functionality of various sectoral directions is clearly the right tactic.

"Because you can't always remain in the same status, especially during a war. This is a crisis, a certain mode of operation, and there is burnout at various levels. Not only at the social level, not only at the level of the families of those who are directly involved in combat. But at any level, there is some burnout, some loss of functionality. And to optimize all this, it is certainly necessary to initiate certain personnel changes," he emphasized.

In conclusion, he noted that after appointments are made to various positions, it will be possible to understand who is responsible for which direction, what competencies are present, and what results we will have in the medium- or long-term perspective.

Cabinet reshuffles

On September 3, the Servant of the People faction announced upcoming personnel changes in the Cabinet of Ministers. Subsequently, RBC-Ukraine sources indicated that reshuffles are also expected in the Office of the President.

It is worth noting that during his evening address yesterday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy personally commented on the personnel reshuffles.
