Russia will strike Ukraine more often with Kalibrs than with kh-101 missiles: Expert explains reason
Russia may use Kalibr missiles for strikes on Ukraine more frequently than Kh-101. The enemy has had the opportunity to accumulate a large number of Kalibrs, states aviation expert Anatolii Khrapchynskyi in a comment to the RBC-Ukraine YouTube channel.
The expert noted that the Russian forces constantly deploy missile carriers at sea to create a threat of attacks.
Yesterday, October 6, against the backdrop of the approaching birthday of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Russian army deployed seven missile carriers at sea for psychological pressure, as Ukraine was anticipating a strike.
According to Khrapchynskyi, there are currently "certain questions" regarding the Russians' stocks of Kh-101/555 missiles.
"As for the Kalibrs, at one time, due to the loss of a large number of carriers, they managed to accumulate this type of missile. Therefore, it is quite likely that in the near future we will see more use of Kalibrs than Kh-101 cruise missiles," he added.
What preceded it
Yesterday, October 6, it became known that Russia is deploying additional missile carriers in the Black Sea.
Moreover, back in July, a spokesperson for the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmytro Pletenchuk reported that the Russian forces are building unified launchers for Kalibr and Onyx missiles.
The last mass strike by Russia on Ukraine occurred on August 27. At that time, the enemy used 10 missiles and 85 kamikaze drones for the attack.
