Russian forces may face new record daily losses in the next two months. The reason for this is the approaching inauguration of Donald Trump, states Ivan Tymochko, head of the Council of Reservists of the Ground Forces, in a comment to the RBC-Ukraine YouTube channel.

According to Tymochko, 2,000 Russian soldiers neutralized in the past day is a record for the period when the destruction of enemy soldiers has been accounted for. At the end of February and the beginning of March 2022, when enemy columns were destroyed over tens of kilometers in one day, such records were not kept.

"I think, there were also some sort of records of this kind there, or perhaps even higher, but back then the priority was defense, and it wasn’t as possible to keep track of enemy casualties. There wasn’t a stable front line, and there weren’t drones in such numbers that could allow for proper documentation," added the military official.

Tymochko also noted that now Ukraine has equipment that allows for intercepting communications between enemy soldiers.

"Since we started recording enemy losses, we can say (about the record of - ed.) two thousand, but in my opinion, this is not the record. We are going to have record numbers in the last two months for sure, as the inauguration (of Donald Trump) is getting closer," the military official speculates.

He also believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin "is far from confident" that he will have serious privileges in the context of the negotiation process.

"He (Putin - ed.) understands perfectly well that entering into negotiations in the situation he is currently in is a position of serious weakness. The second army in the world is stuck in our Donetsk region, which it wanted to take in three days, with insane, record losses, unable to defeat us and carry out its own plans," Tymochko emphasized.

Russian losses

Today, November 29, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 2,030 soldiers.

These numbers are a record in recent times.
