Drone attack on special forces university in Chechnya could be a warning sign for Kadyrov - Ukraine's counter-disinformation agency
A drone attacked a Russian special forces university in Chechnya on Tuesday, Oct. 29. This incident could be a warning sign for the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, as Andrii Kovalenko, the head of Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation, told RBC-Ukraine.
Kovalenko notes that Kadyrov’s forces have committed numerous war crimes, both in the Kursk region and in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
"There is a lot of evidence, and I'm confident that sooner or later this evidence will reach international courts," Kovalenko said.
According to him, the drone attack on the Russian special forces university in Chechnya serves as "a message to Kadyrov's forces, reminding them that war can directly come to their own home."
"This case is a symbolic gesture. Kadyrov must watch his back even in Chechnya, where he considers himself a local ruler," he said.
