DPRK troops withdraw from some directions in Kursk region - Special Operations Forces
Russia has withdrawn North Korean troops from some directions in the Kursk region. The DPRK military has not been observed in certain areas for about three weeks, this was stated in a comment to RBC-Ukraine by the spokesperson for the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Oleksandr Kindratenko.
"The Special Operations Forces only comment on the directions where our units are deployed. In this regard, we inform that the presence of DPRK troops has not been observed for approximately three weeks. It is likely that, having suffered significant losses, they were forced to withdraw," he said.
In response to a journalist's follow-up question, Kindratenko stated that the DPRK soldiers were not observed specifically in the directions in the Kursk region where the Special Operations Forces are operating.
It is currently unknown whether Russia has withdrawn North Korean troops from all directions in the Kursk region. RBC-Ukraine was unable to obtain confirmation or denial of this information from the Kursk group.
