Ukraine relies on support from partner countries to defend against Russia’s invasion. Without this assistance, the country cannot conduct military operations on its own, stated Roman Pohorilyi, co-founder and analyst at the Deep State platform, in a comment to RBC-Ukraine's YouTube channel.

"Of course, as of today, Ukraine is not capable of waging war independently or fully supplying itself with everything necessary," Pohorilyi emphasized.

He noted that the aid Ukraine receives goes beyond weapons and missiles, extending to intelligence sharing, air and naval support, and even permissions for strikes.

"This is a multifaceted process of assistance that manifests in various forms. That’s why the military and political leadership, along with all involved parties, stress the need for our partners," he added.

Pohorilyi also pointed out that even Russia, despite its massive military-industrial complex, seeks assistance from Iran and North Korea for drones, missiles, artillery shells, and even manpower.

The expert stressed that without US aid, in particular, Ukraine would be significantly limited in its military capabilities. This became evident during the battle for Avdiivka when the US was unable to provide assistance due to congressional funding delays.

"Without this support, things will be extremely difficult, that must be acknowledged. But at the same time, we cannot surrender or lose our sovereignty and independence to the extent that others dictate how we hold elections, conduct politics, or develop our state. Otherwise, what would be the point of all this if we cannot decide our own future?" he concluded.

The United States has suspended assistance to Ukraine

Today, on March 4, it was reported that the United States is suspending military aid to Ukraine. In particular, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that the Polish hub had stopped receiving equipment from the United States.

According to Western media, this refers to all the military aid that the United States had promised to provide to Ukraine earlier.
