Zelenskyy warns the West of refugees issues if aid to Ukraine is cut

The curtailing of aid to Ukraine will not only prolong the war in Ukraine but also create "risks for the West in its own backyard" in the context of Ukrainian refugees, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his interview with The Economist.
He said that Ukrainians have generally "behaved well" and are "very grateful" to those who sheltered them, and "they will not forget that generosity." However, there is no way of predicting how the millions of Ukrainian refugees in European countries would react to their country being abandoned.
The Ukrainian President is confident that it would not be a "good story" for Europe if it were to "drive these people (Ukrainian refugees - ed.) into a corner".
