Zelenskyy visits frontline city Kherson
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Kherson on Wednesday, November 29, according to his statement.
He shared a video of his visit to the city, which was occupied a year ago. According to the video, Zelenskyy visited a hospital and talked to doctors.
He also inspected the city's largest shelter, equipped to accommodate 250 people during an air raid alert. Zelenskyy listened to a report from the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on the repair and reconstruction of shelters in the region.
Before arriving in Kherson, Zelenskyy visited the Mykolaiv region, where he participated in the presentation of projects implemented under Denmark's patronage in the region. He notes that the patronage program is a successful example and demonstrates to other countries what can still be done.
Zelenskyy's visit
Today, Zelenskyy arrived on a working visit to the Odesa region. He held a meeting with the military and discussed the situation in the Black Sea, the defense of the grain corridor, and the strengthening of anti-air defense.
Shelling of Kherson
Russian forces continuously shell Kherson. The situation with attacks on the right bank is so severe that it remains under the control of the president.
On November 19, four adults and one child were injured in the Kherson shelling. On November 18, a volunteer in Kherson was wounded as a result of shelling.
Yesterday, the Russian army once again shelled Kherson. An elderly woman was injured in her yard.
