Zelenskyy unveils new plan to strengthen Ukraine, including frontline
The Ukrainian government and military command are working on a plan to strengthen Ukraine internally, with a particular focus on achieving goals on the frontline, stated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening address.
"Today we had a lot of internal work, work on the points of the plan to strengthen our state and society. Today, there were military proposals, with points concerning the front - our strategy and tactics of action," Zelenskyy explained.
He stated that all state resources must be directed to ensure Ukrainian objectives are achieved.
The President held a lengthy meeting with military leadership and government officials.
"This frontline element of the plan, along with the defense industry, really fundamental things, and everything else in the life of our state depends on how it is structured," Zelenskyy noted.
Therefore, according to the President, a clear definition of the ways to achieve the goals at the front, as well as a significant scale-up of Ukraine's own defense industry, taking into account the existing tasks, is “something in which every step of the state should be and will be calculated.”
Plan to strengthen Ukraine
Recently, President Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine is developing an internal strengthening plan. It will be in line with the victory plan.
This initiative covers the frontline, defense industry, economy and finance, information, justice, regional work, and other strategic areas.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, will oversee the organization of this effort, according to the President.
