Ukrainian drones struck major logistics facilities in Russia's Moscow and Tambov regions overnight on July 18, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated.
"Today, our long-range sanctions worked across three areas on Russian territory, as well as on our temporarily occupied land and at sea," Zelenskyy said.
In particular, two major logistics facilities were hit in the Moscow and Tambov regions, located more than 500 kilometers (310 miles) and around 700 kilometers (435 miles) from the front line, respectively.
The facilities were reportedly used by Russian forces to supply sanctioned components for the production of drones and navigation equipment.
An oil facility was also hit.

Strikes on Russia on July 18
It was previously reported that drones attacked several facilities in Russia's Moscow region overnight on July 18.
Ukrainian drones struck one of Wildberries' largest warehouses in the Moscow suburb of Elektrostal. A massive fire is still raging at the site, sending thick black smoke into the sky.
In addition to the Wildberries warehouse, an oil depot in Noginsk also came under attack. Explosions were also reported in Tver and Vladimir.
