Zelenskyy: Ukraine wants to end war diplomatically, but prepared to use force
Ukraine wants to force Russian leader Vladimir Putin to end the war diplomatically. But if it is not possible, Ukrainian forces will be ready to fairly oust the enemy from the territory of the country, says President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a briefing in Kyiv.
Zelenskyy stresses that the war can only end with the restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity and the prevention of Russia's repeated aggression.
“We will do everything to force Putin to end this war diplomatically so that there are fewer losses - people in the first place and time. But if we do not succeed, if our partners crumble and do not stand firmly against Putin's aggression, we will do everything to ensure that our army is ready to fairly push Putin out of our country,” the president said.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently called on partners to speed up assistance to Ukraine.
According to him, there are military aid packages that have been announced but have not yet been delivered to Ukraine. Delivery of weapons and equipment on time is currently key for Ukraine's military in the fight against Russian aggression.
