He attached a screenshot of Trump's schedule to his post, and according to that image, the meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and the US will take place at 9:30 AM Eastern Time (4:30 PM Kyiv time). It is also noted that there will be no press access (i.e., the meeting will be behind closed doors).

After that, at 11:00 AM (6:00 PM Kyiv time), Donald Trump will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. That meeting will also be without the press.

"Both leaders are then expected to attend Sen. Lindsey Graham’s funeral," the journalist wrote, likely meaning that both Zelenskyy and Netanyahu will be with Trump at the funeral.

What is important to know about Zelenskyy-Trump meeting

A day earlier, Sky News published an interview with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in which the president revealed some information about what he wants to discuss with Donald Trump.

According to Zelenskyy, he plans to raise the issue of air defense missile supplies, as well as discuss the peace negotiation process and the format of these negotiations. He noted that the American side has three ideas.

Also on the evening of July 27, CNN, citing its sources, also reported that the meeting will be dedicated to the peace process between Russia and Ukraine. A White House official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that it is time to put an end to this war.

What else is known about the visit

This week, the US Senate is to consider a package of "hellish" sanctions against Russia, which was pushed by the late Senator Lindsey Graham.

According to The Hill, Zelenskyy will meet with senators the day before. All 100 senators have been invited to this meeting. The key topic will likely be sanctions.
