Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will deliver a special address at the World Economic Forum. He will be present at the event scheduled for next week in person, report The Guardian та DW, according to a statement by Borge Brende, the President of the World Economic Forum.

According to Brende, Zelenskyy "will deliver the speech and meet CEOs" at the World Economic Forum, scheduled from January 15 to 19.

"It is taking place against the most complicated geopolitical and geo-economic backdrop in decades," added the President of the WEF.

According to reports, one of the forum's topics will be Russia's war against Ukraine, but the main focus will be on the conflict between Israel and Hamas militants.

The conference will be attended by many world leaders and high-ranking politicians, including Israeli President Isaac Herzog, newly elected President of Argentina Javier Milei, French President Emmanuel Macron, and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Background

Earlier reports mentioned Zelenskyy's potential visit to Switzerland next week to participate in the International Economic Forum.

Journalists also reported that the Ukrainian head of state would visit Bern, the capital city of Switzerland. The visit is expected to last at least two days.

It's worth noting that a meeting on the Peace Formula is also planned in Davos in January, involving security advisors of leaders from several countries.
