Zelenskyy tells partners how to stop escalation of war
Moscow is determined to continue its aggression against Ukraine, and DPRK soldiers could be on the battlefield within days. The steps outlined in the victory plan can stop this, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The Head of State noted that Russia wants nothing more than to continue the war. That's why the enemy is trying to increase its defense production, and it's by circumventing sanctions. In addition, due to the desire to continue the war, North Korean soldiers may be on the battlefield against Ukraine within days.
“Ukraine will have to actually fight against North Korea in Europe. These are the conditions when the lack of stronger decisions by partners in support of Ukraine only encourages Putin to invest in terror,” the president said.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the world can stop the war from escalating. This requires steps and they are spelled out in the plan for Ukraine's victory.
“Abstractions and words are not enough for this - we need concrete steps. We have given all such steps in the victory plan. The steps that will not allow the perpetrators of the war to become even more aggressive. We expect the necessary greater pressure on Russia. We expect more support for Ukraine. And it will be fair,” the Head of State said.
He also added that the time that passes while there are no solutions brings constant Russian strikes and the loss of “our lives.”
The President informed that next week he would be actively working with partners to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
“The next week will be a time of our very active work with partners to support our soldiers at the front and for the sake of our strategy of forcing Russia to end the war. We are preparing important signals of support,” Zelenskyy summarized.
Today, it became known that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy allowed foreigners and stateless persons to serve in the Armed Forces as officers. The relevant bill was returned with the President's signature on Friday, October 25. Before that, on October 10, it was passed by the parliament.
