US President Donald Trump is trying to find a "scapegoat" in Ukraine for his own problems ahead of the midterm elections in the United States, according to Zelenskyy's briefing in Brussels.
Zelenskyy responds with a smile
The journalist asked the Ukrainian president a provocative question.
He asked if Zelenskyy felt he was being made a 'scapegoat' for Donald Trump's domestic political problems ahead of US midterm elections.
"Do you think you are being treated as a scapegoat for his own problems?" the journalist asked.
Zelenskyy paused, then smiled and said, "This is my answer." He immediately left the press conference.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Zelenskyy had responded to Trump's remarks, in which the US president called him "not a good guy to deal with."
Trump also said that Zelenskyy was difficult to negotiate with over a halt to attacks on Russian oil refineries. He claimed that negotiating with Russian leader Vladimir Putin was easier.
