In Belarus, under Russia’s influence, military infrastructure is being built near the border with Ukraine. Signals have already been conveyed to Minsk that this must be stopped, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.
According to the President, the situation in Belarus was reported to him by the acting head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Oleh Luhovskyi.
"Oleh Luhovskyi reported on the implementation, under clear Russian influence in Belarus, of measures aimed at preparing for a potential expansion of aggression against Ukraine," Zelenskyy emphasized.
He noted that along the Ukrainian border in Belarus, the construction of road infrastructure and ammunition and fuel and lubricants storage facilities is being completed. They have no other purpose except military use.

The following border directions are involved:
Kobryn – Kovel;
Ivanava – Manivichi;
Luninets – Sarny;
Rechytsa – Korosten;
Homel – Chernihiv.
"We know that in Russian documents this is described specifically in the context of the objectives of the so-called special military operation," the President added.
Zelenskyy noted that Belarus has already received signals from Ukraine regarding such activities and other forms of its cooperation with Russia aimed at prolonging or escalating the war.
"Belarus knows what steps are needed on its part for peace. The development of border infrastructure for aggression on the Belarusian side must be stopped. The Belarusian side itself must take steps aimed at de-escalation and peace," he added.
