On the afternoon of September 15, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with guided bombs, including a residential building. More than 30 people have been reported wounded in the attack, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He noted that the rescue operation is currently underway. As a result of the Russian strike, the high-rise building was damaged by the bombs.

“There is a fire and rubble between the 9th and 12th floors. At this time, we know about almost 30 wounded, including children. All services are involved in rescuing people. I thank everyone who helps,” the President said.

Zelenskyy once again emphasized that the world must help defend against Russian aviation and dozens of guided bombs that take the lives of Ukrainians every day.

“This terror can be stopped. But to stop the terror, we need to stop the fear of strong decisions that are objectively necessary,” the Ukrainian president wrote.

According to him, only determination can end this war justly.

“It is determination that most effectively protects against terror,” he summarized.

A few minutes after Zelenskyy's post, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov clarified that the number of victims had increased to 33 civilians in the high-rise building.

The head of the OP, Andrii Yermak, showed a video of the aftermath of the strike, noting that Russia only knows how to fight civilians. Conversely, where it encounters force, it starts to run away, as the Kursk operation proves.

In his post, he also called on the world to allow Ukraine to strike at military targets in Russia.

“The world should allow us to strike at military targets on the territory of Russia with Western weapons to stop all this,” Yermak wrote.
