Zelenskyy says US proposed trilateral talks in the UAE

The US side has initiated negotiations with Ukraine in a trilateral format and has already decided on the venue, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told journalists.
The US has proposed holding a preparatory meeting at the technical level in a trilateral format.
“Regarding the trilateral meeting, the US side has proposed preparing for it and holding a trilateral meeting at the technical level,” the president said.
The US side has designated the United Arab Emirates as the venue. Ukraine is now awaiting a proposal from Washington regarding the date.
Middle Eastern countries had already been in contact with Russia regarding a ceasefire in the Black Sea. Zelenskyy confirmed at the time that Kyiv was awaiting the results of these discussions.
