Zelenskyy says Ukraine strikes targets in three Russian regions and the Black Sea

Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine has struck Russian targets in three regions and in the Black Sea. Among them were two oil facilities and a military training ground, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“Ukraine’s just responses to all Russian strikes against our people. Over the past day, our warriors struck four targets that help Russia finance and wage its brutal war,” the president said.

Two oil facilities and a military training ground were targeted. They are located in the Perm, Samara, and Astrakhan regions of Russia.
Separately, the head of state noted that Ukraine also carried out a strike in the Black Sea.
On the night of October 7, Russia reported a large-scale attack by Ukrainian drones. According to the Russian ministry of defense, Russian air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 311 UAVs.
The Russian ministry reported that air defense systems were active in 17 regions, as well as over occupied Crimea and the waters of the Black and Azov Seas.
