Russia claims massive Ukrainian attack hits 17 regions

On the night of October 7, the Defense Forces of Ukraine used several hundred attack drones as part of a new aerial attack on various regions of Russia, according to the Russian defense ministry.
The new massive Ukrainian attack on Russia took place throughout the past night.
The Russian defense ministry traditionally does not disclose the exact number of drones used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the strikes, but the report makes it clear that several hundred UAVs were involved.
The Russian authorities claim that their air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 311 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
This time, Ukrainian Armed Forces drones were reportedly targeted over the territories of:
- Belgorod region,
- Bryansk region,
- Kursk region,
- Tula region,
- Oryol region,
- Lipetsk region,
- Voronezh region,
- Smolensk region,
- Tambov region,
- Kaluga region,
- Saratov region,
- Samara region,
- Penza region,
- Rostov region,
- Volgograd region;
- Perm Krai,
- occupied Crimea:
- the waters of the Black and Azov seas.
According to analysts who track Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on various regions of Russia, one group of Ukrainian UAVs was detected 1,500 km from the border. However, there have been no reports of hits on enemy facilities so far.
