Zelenskyy reveals number of missiles, Shahed drones, air bombs launched at Ukraine in April
In April, Russia used hundreds of different missiles and thousands of guided air bombs (GABs) against Ukraine, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
During April the enemy used:
- over 300 missiles of various types;
- nearly 300 Shahed drones;
- more than 3,200 GABs.
He adds that Sumy, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Donetsk regions, as well as Mykolaiv and Kherson, suffer from the enemy's terror every night. Thousands of lives have been saved thanks to the allies' assistance who supported Ukraine's air shield and strengthened sanctions pressure against the enemy's war machine.
"However, many lives, unfortunately, have been taken by these strikes. This terror can be stopped only by strength. The strength of our people, the unity of the world, pressure on Russia, the strength of air defense systems provided to Ukraine, and the strength of our soldiers holding the front line," Zelenskyy added.
Missile production in Russia
According to Ukraine's intelligence data, Russia has:
- about 40 units of the 3M22 Zircon, with around 10 units produced monthly;
- about 400 units of Onyx/Onyx-M, with up to 10 units produced monthly;
- about 270 Kalibr missiles, with production of up to 40 units per month;
- about 45 units of Kh-69, produced at a rate of up to 3 units per month.
Russia had not used the Kalibr missiles against Ukraine for quite a long time as it was replenishing its stocks. These missiles were last used during the April 27 shelling.
