Ukraine and several Middle Eastern countries have reached an agreement, but Kyiv is not disclosing its details for specific reasons, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a press conference.

"We also have a separate agreement with countries in the Middle East that we are not disclosing," the head of state said.

"Why? Because it depends on the likelihood of a complete end to the war in the Middle East," he explained.

The president noted that Ukraine's access to anti-ballistic defense capabilities is linked to the establishment of peace in the region.

"We hope for peace there not because of the missiles, but because we genuinely wish peace for the countries and people of the Middle East. However, anti-ballistic defense for our country is undoubtedly connected to that," Zelenskyy said.

On July 13, the leaders of Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom signed a declaration establishing an anti-ballistic missile coalition.

The new initiative was launched in response to the growing threat posed by ballistic missiles. Its primary goal is to create an integrated missile defense system that will strengthen and complement existing national and European protection mechanisms.

Recently, Ukrainian company Fire Point also unveiled its FP-7.x anti-ballistic missiles, which are being developed for the future Freyja air defense system.

In addition, the company presented the concept of Freyja as a pan-European anti-ballistic shield that would be jointly owned by participating partner countries.
